Season 13 has made Resplendent Sparks feel like that one thing you never have enough of, even when the rest of your stash is a complete mess. You can farm gold, mats, sigils, boss parts, whatever. Sparks don't work like that. They're tied to Mythic Uniques, which means your Diablo 4 gear plan matters before you start spending them like candy. Burn one too early, and yeah, you'll feel it later.

    Why Sparks Feel So Tight
Resplendent Sparks are used for crafting Mythic Unique items, and that's the whole reason players get weirdly protective about them. A Mythic drop is already rare. Getting the wrong one is common. Getting a second copy of the wrong one is annoying, but also useful, because salvaging it gives you a Spark. That's the loop. It isn't flashy. It isn't instant. You grind bosses, pray for purple beams, then decide what actually deserves to be destroyed at the Blacksmith.
First Steps Before The Real Farm

    1. Finish the Season Journey before chasing boss loops.
    2. Push your build until Tormented bosses feel stable.
Where The Sparks Really Come From

Most players get their first Spark through seasonal progress, then the rest through Mythic Unique salvage. That's why boss farming sits at the center of the whole thing. Duriel and Andariel are still the names people bring up first, mostly because their loot tables make sense for Mythic hunting. Tormented versions are better if your group can handle them cleanly. If you're dying every pull, though, don't pretend it's efficient. Drop the ego, fix the build, and come back when the runs are boring.

    What You Get
    Player Take
    Season Journey
    One time Spark access
    Easy win for casual players
    Duplicate Mythic salvage
    Reliable Spark conversion
    Best long term method
    Tormented boss farming
    More Mythic chances
    Great with a party

The table makes it look neat, but the actual farm is messy. Someone forgets mats. Someone disconnects. Someone gets the drop you wanted. That's Diablo.
    How To Spend Without Regret

    1. Pick the Mythic your finished build actually needs.
    2. Wait if a balance patch is close.
Playing It Smart In Season 13

Don't treat Sparks like normal crafting junk. They're closer to a long-term promise to your character. If your build is still changing every night, hold them. If you're copying a guide but haven't tested the playstyle yet, hold them. Once you're sure, crafting the right Mythic can make the game feel completely different, especially for boss pushing and high-tier endgame farming. And if you're still filling weak slots while saving Sparks, some players compare prices, drops, and ways to buy Diablo 4 gear instead.
